TBD Tiger King Project
We were given two prompts when approached to envision the creative identity of the show. One direction asked us to lean into the campy, ridiculous, comically hard to believe elements of the show (The rivalries! The fashion! The Youtube channel!).
In response to this prompt, I created a few variations of
“Rare Breeds”.
The second prompt asked us to explore the very real darkness and more serious aspects of the show - how an obsession with fame and money at any cost begat rampant animal and employee abuse.
This concept led us to “Nature of the Beast” - a reference to the animal kingdom that alludes not just to the darkness of the titular Joe Exotic - but the pitfalls of humanity itself.
